You never know if a girl's gonna say 'yes', or if she's gonna laugh in your face and pull out your still-beating heart and crush it into the ground with her heel.

{{Australians}}

Does that make me the only Buffista who still has new-to-her episodes to watch hasn't watched the show's finale?

Ficht nicht mit Der Raketemensch!

What did you think, then?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's not over until all Buffistas have seen the end.

Which means, Nilly, that you just can never see it.

God, that will be a moment, eh? When every Buffista has seen the end. We should put a black border around the site, or something.

Loved it.

I had thought of two directions that could have been possible fitting endings to the series. A third one hadn't occurred to me. It occurred to Joss. That's pretty much my definition of good storytelling.

No, we'll just make sure that by the time I see it, there will be newbies who still haven't.

Oh, and there already are and also going to be several Buffista Babies, and I'm pretty sure their parents wouldn't let them watch even the first episode of BtvS until they're at least old enough to pronounce the word "Buffista".

Oh, and I just very much like the word "newbie" right now - they just started showing "Scrubs" here, and whenever the main character is called that way, I'm liking it all the more.

[Edit:

I had thought of two directions that could have been possible fitting endings to the series.

What were your endings, Angus?]

Yes, that sums up my feelings.

Mine were: Everyone dies or the Hellmouth gets shut.

Well I was just thinking about what happens to Buffy but, yeah, on similar lines: either she dies (again!) or she somehow manages to "retire" from slaying and pass on her powers. I really do have to hand it to Joss for finding a third solution that seemed obvious in retrospect. And I don't know why I'm still being coy about it! Just making sure...Nilly, you're spoiled, right?
