Jimi! You may have saved me a lot of time and money...I replaced the powerboard my TV was plugged into and the old one had a distinct rattle, which suggests to me that your diagnosis was correct. So I owe you one mate! (Touch wood.)

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

No probs, Angus, though it'll probably turn out to be a fault with the telly that will cause it to eventually explode into flames which will burn down the building and destroy all your worldly possessions and seriously injure you and kill your budgie and your cat and your dog. t /Murphy's Law

To every idea a shelf...

(Touch wood.)

Yes sir! Any particular part, or is it lady's choice? I call his arms.

In other news that does not rely on the inherent ambiguity of language, can anyone (most likely P.M. Marcontell, I would guess) tell me in white font about the scenes that got cut from the Angel final?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

a scene where Fred's bandaging up Angel, more to the Gunn/Wes Lilah discussion (in the aired version, it ends with "Figure of speech.", and in the script, there are two more lines: "Not sure if I buy that." "Not sure I do, either." or something very like. Umm. A scene at the mall with Connor Bon Bon looking at the peeps and we see what he sees, which is only the bad. In the script, Wes/Lilah isn't one scene, there's a break. Hmm. There's some other stuff, more Fred/Knox science, yadayada.

Think that's most of the 11 minutes.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I MUST find the magical boob tape!

Ficht nicht mit Der Raketemensch!

Isn't Pierce Brosnan Irish anyway?

Yes - he's an honourary knight like Geldof and Guiliani

If I only had a brain...

I admire the magical boob tape.

Oooh, Betsy, I'm curious. What are you now?

Really, really depressed.

I think force is sometimes necessary, although a lot less often than people think. I think the fact of having a superior army makes it more tempting to use force when negotiation would be appropriate. I think it is difficult to negotiate effectively without also having an army.

I think people aren't as trustworthy and honorable as I wish they were.
