Convert one person, you have a stake paperweight. Convert four, you can stake your tomato patch. Convert twenty, you can build a little fence and keep away the flocks of newbies making a pilgrimage to your Tivo.
white fonted mild spoiler for those who have not seen the Buffy finale;
I think the reward for converting one person to buffydom should be cookie dough.
Please tell me what a Tivo is -- I've heard many Americans mention it, and even Clem talks about it in one S7 episode. Is it a special kind of telly?
SLUT!!!!!

It's a hard disc video recorder - it allows you to search online TV listings and select to record, say, everything where cast=SMG, and it records it. Plus you can pause live TV, skip ad breaks (to the horror of the networks).
Ta, Jim. Sounds unbelievably... expensive.
Dammit, lost my post somehow...
Two. Episodes. To. Go. Can't believe it.
Thoughts on Touched anyone? I'm not really sure how I feel about it yet. Gut reaction ramblings...
I love pirate!Xander very much. Can I have one of my very own? Pleeeaaase? I'll take care of him ever so well.
I'm more comfortable with the events of last week now, what with Dawn feeling guilty and Kennedy showing she has an authority problem in general and stuff. Still don't quite buy it though.
I love the way Faith is being written and I LOVELOVELOVED the FE appearing as the Mayor. It was weird though, I was totally up for Faith/Wood last week but when it actually happened I was all: meh.
I don't care a pepper pot for Kennedy, or Kennedy/Willow. Willow annoyed me, which is really rare. I hated her euphemistic cutesy little speech to Spike about Buffy.
I don't exactly hate Buffy/Spike but I don't really like them together either, so their scenes annoyed me a bit. I cheered like a loon when Buffy went after Caleb with all those Hammer (i.e. You Can't Touch This) moves but I didn't like that Spike was the one who pep talked her into it.
Oooh, and the bomb made me gasp, even though the subterranean area may as well have been swarming with underpant gnomes weilding g-strings with TRAP!!! scrawled on them in purple paint.
Aaand I'm done.
SQQQUUUUUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
Quick driveby to gush about the sheer awesomeness of the Angel final. So. Freaking. Good. I have goosebumps!!!
I'm posting out of excitement, but if my enthusiasm happens to taunt Un-Americans who haven't seen it yet, well, bonus!
Sounds unbelievably... expensive.
Cheapest model (40 hours of recording space) is US$249, plus either a $12.95 monthly fee or a lifetime fee of $299. You can also rate shows as "thumbs up" or "thumbs down" as you're watching them, and it'll use those ratings to figure out other things you'll like and either have a list of "suggestions" or automatically record them.
