Plantains, right? Fried with sugar? Haven't had them for years.
No, these are some other banana variation (though plantains would also be good in it.) Very small, finger sized, and sweet.
Hmm.
They're sold here as baby bananas, which they aren't. I think I may cook tonight.
Chinese might have curry too.
Plaintains (ours, anyway) are about the same size as bananas.
I would happily give a recommendation for Thai green curry. Not the mildest curry out there, but not the hottest either, and the flavour is just sensational.
The Thai curries do some miraculous things with the sweet and the coconut milk -- amazing.

Now I'm peckish. Note to self: seek out Thai green curry in San Diego.
More a yellow curry man, but I'm a wuss. Typo boy - may I recommend the Stout, if you don't fancy Ting?
Thai curries are lovely, but they aren't curry within the meaning of the Act.
Except musaman curry.
If it ain't yellow, it ain't curry.
Jamaican curry's not yellow. Wanna take this outside?
And sorry - but "Curry" is the English spelling of the Indian word for "sauce". So curried foods are simply foods with Indian style sauces on them - many of which sauces are not yellow. The difference between various Indian curries (especially between regions) is as great as the difference between them and , say, Thai Green Curry. Curry is one of those things that was invented in one nation and spread to become the property of the world - like rock n' roll....
