You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

The first episode is the weakest (and I enjoyed it), but after that it began to rock hard.

Art Crawl!!!

I agree that the first episode was the weakest, but it was really hitting it's stride by the 3rd.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Didn't love ep 1, was interested by 2, in love by 3. I just watched ep 8, and I can't believe how quickly I've become attached to the characters and their universe.

I , the first couple episodes, but I was pretty much just watching out of loyalty. Then, when "Out of Gas" hit, Tim had me believing, for a split second, that he may well just kill off the captain and or crew and start fresh, well, he had me. Because I believed wholeheartedly that if anyone was capable of it, Minear was. Now I'm hooked.

I've even adapted my New Buffy dance to express my bouncy delight.

Oh good. I'mnot the only one who does this.

Is that Narrative Causality or Historical Imperative or just plain weird?

Victor, brother! I once described my Dance of New Buffy to Hec as a cross between football cheering, the twist, and the can-can. The Angel version has Stirring Pot dancing (I'm sorry, I don't know the real name, I learnt it off Ricki Lake) added to the mix. The Firefly dance contains much hip shimmying, elaborate hand movements, and dosey-doing. Wait, where are you all going? Come baaaack, dance with me! You know you wanna.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

That would be the Cabbage Patch Dance I think. Can I get ruling by Jesse?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Um, yeah, sounds like the Cabbage Patch.

curtsies at Betsy and swings her around the thread, googles Cabbage Patch

Yep, that's the one. Technically it's only performed when I predict something and it happens, and then I bounce around being smug and obnoxious. Though I'm sticking with my name for it, because cabbage patch? Why? This is one of those Confuse the UnAmericans things, isn't it?

I will resist Natter until I finish grading, I will.

Heh. When I played Claudio in Much Ado About Nothing, we used to cabbage patch backstage at rehearsals and shout, "Whoop! There it Doth!"

Ahem.

Ficht nicht mit Der Raketemensch!

OK, I'm officially jonesing. God, these shows rule all. Still unsure about Firefly, but I was right about it being Blake's 7. Only with no Avon
