Aren't they something. They're like butterflies, or little pieces of wrapping paper blowing around.

Ficht nicht mit Der Raketemensch!

Fiona - they arrived themselves. I've watched 4 Buffys, 2 Angels and a Firefly thus far. Now I need the next batch - I don't think it's spoily to say that thus far Buffy is on S3 form. I'll get these in the post once I've seen Firefly 2.1.

Yay! SO is working quite a lot so I need something to fill my evenings once B. has gone to bed. Great!

Now I need the next batch.

Let's ask our tape fairy how things look.

If I only had a brain...

I don't think it's spoily to say that thus far Buffy is on S3 form.

Damn skippy. There is fear that this is Going Out With A Bang.

I'm about to dive into NAFDA. Angel looks good, Firefly......we'll see.

If I only had a brain...

Firefly started really slow. We started getting the burst of "My God, I LOVE this show!" in late October. I was completely indifferent for the first two or three episodes.

hip deep in pie

I agree with Betsy. The first couple of episodes left me cold, then, all of a sudden I fell in love.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Early adopter chiming in here. Which, of course, means I'm so hopelessly in love now that I'm scaring myself.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I'll third that opinion (that it started slow), though the only episode I didn't really like was the first one, "The Train Job."

You sip / say it's your crazy / straw say it's you're crazy / as you bicycle your soul / with beauty in your basket

I love love loved it from the beginning, but it must be admitted that a lot of that was resting on Kaylee's face. Now I love love love it for lots of different reasons.

Kaylee's face among them.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I didn't love the first one, but by the second I was getting hooked.
