Most people is pretty quiet right about now. Me, I see a stiff -- one I didn't have to kill myself -- I just get, the urge to, you know, do stuff. Like work out, run around, maybe get some trim if there's a willin' woman about... not that I get flush from corpses or anything. I ain't crazy.

Oh yeah deborah, loved the way comic book geeks secretly knew something other people missed.

evil jimi - it's nice to know I'm not the only one who liked Kindred.. not enough to defend it to friends, but as a schlocky pleasure. The clan concept was cool.

so pardon my schoolmistressy ways.

That's how you got to be Poster Primus, isn't it Angus? ;)

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

The Kindred star died about a year after it was cancelled.

My mistake. It appears my info was wrong and the show had, indeed, been cancelled before Frankel died but since the show and Frankel's death were both in '96, it probably wasn't a year after.

Ficht nicht mit Der Raketemensch!

Nigel fucking Havers? I turn my back for 5 minutes and you all come out as NIGEL HAVERS fans? If you just can't live without insipid post-Anthony Andrews pseudo-posho '80s actors, why not go with James Wilby? Rupert Graves? Michael Kitchen? Jesus, I'd have more respect for you if you got gushy about Christopher Cazenove or Peter Bowles than bloody Havers!

For the record, no English people like Havers. Fiona, as a scotto-german-american, doesn't count.

On a more frivolous note - Angus is right, the fact that we're using "un-Buffista-like" as a serious term is concerning.

Also, the Lesbian Spank Inferno episode is the peak of Coupling - it's never that funny again. "Why do all the other girls decide they should be spanked?" "........sisterhood?".

Looks like you spelled inisipip wrong there, Jim!

A. I think originally, that was me, and now that displeasure has been voiced twice, first I'd like to say that in context, it wasn't any kind of serious charge, as much as it was shorthand for summing up a giant pain in my arse

And...

B. I'll just shut up now

C. If you need me, I'll be in the garden, eating worms.

Anyone got any catsup? I'd ask Nigel, but only Americans know how to make catsup.

I'd ask Nigel, but only Americans know how to make catsup.

Which Nigel, Cindy? Nigel Havers, Nigel Slater...?

Julie - Apr 22, 2003 5:10:36 am PDT #3864 of 9843

Nigel Havers, Nigel Slater...?

Nigel Hawthorn?

Nigel Kennedy?

The word Nigel is starting to sound funny...

There are no American Nigels, so I really don't have to specify. Please don't make me talk again while I have worms in my mouth.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Well, I can send you a care package from SF, if you'd like.

That's ok. I still have stuff left over from a care package I received for my birthday (and, in any case, the sites I linked to ship nationwide.)

Now see, for me, Haig's is the One.True.Chocolate.

I think Bec would agree with you.

Also, the Lesbian Spank Inferno episode is the peak of Coupling - it's never that funny again. "Why do all the other girls decide they should be spanked?" "........sisterhood?".

For me it's The Cupboard of Patrick's Love.
