You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

The shooting happened on the sixth floor of the Robert Menzies building, which is home to the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.

I really hate to bring this up, but wouldn't this be where Angus teaches? Has he checked in?

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I think Angus is still out ill. I am not, however, certain.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Just more reassurance for plasmo that all Americans are not gun-boosting zealots. Both of my brothers are cops who regularly patrol, do traffic stops, intervene in domestic disputes, et cetera, all occasions made much more perilous by the quick access that our society is permitted access to hand guns.

(At minimum, I feel guns should be licensed/permitted along the same lines that cars are, which includes annual inspections and 'gun insurance.')

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Really I can't think of a reason why a regular ol' citizen is ever going to need an automatic weapon.

It's for hunting your modern superanimals.

I'm OK! I'm OK! I was actually teaching at Melbourne Uni, not Monash, and I'm unemployed at the moment, but it was sweet of people to worry...Actually my brother is a student at Monash, but at a different campus.

Actually plasmo, knowing that you're a fashion guru and all, I've just come into some money (actually an inheritance from my mother, not to be ghoulish...) and I'm up for a major spending spree. Obviously I know Chapel Street and so on, but are there any interesting places in Melbourne that do boys' stuff that I should know about? Either club/casual or high fashion type stuff. But, you know, something that someone in their VERY EARLY 30s could wear. Any thoughts?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Nilly, just checking in hoping you and yours are OK. And wishing this didn't come up so often.

Glad to hear the Aussies are all intact as well. Go Angus! Buy something foamy and make sure we get pictures.

Thanks for the very detailed list plasmo! I've printed it out and will take it on my next shopping trip. (I do know some of those already...Calibre is a fave when I can (a) afford and (b) fit into it.)

Brenda, I will have to get some pictures taken because I'm getting new glasses as well. (Armani frames! They were the only ones I liked, honest!)
