Anyway, I'm absolutely burning with curiosity about something--I'm sure you can guess what--even though I know it's absolutely none of my business...
Now I'm burning with curiosity as to what Angus is burning with curiosity about, though I too have a guess....
Of real interest to Aussies only: Parkinson interviews Ricky Gervais and Michael Palin this Saturday night.
Oh and just saw a cryptic promo for a new
Andrew Denton
series on the ABC!!
Angus, insent - assuming you were asking about a particular poster's "return" this week...
Me too, please Jim, if it's not too much trouble.... And btw, what is the status on tapes? You had two more, I think, which you were going to send out...?
Speaking of which: John H. and Nilly - I will email you as soon as I get the chance.
Jim were you referring to the 'Enough Rope' Denton ad?

There's a review in the Herald which says that Gervais is disturbingly like Brent in real life. Talk about must-see.
And yes, the new Denton show is called "Enough Rope". What do you want to know about it? Colleagues were discussing it in the pub this evening...
There's a review in the Herald which says that Gervais is disturbingly like Brent in real life.
It's true, actually.
Fiona - Jesus! Two tapes (and secret Other Place Goss email) insent right now - they've been in my desk for a month.....
It's true, actually.
OK double-must-see-TV.
I watched the whole of the first season of the Office over two days, because I got lent a preview copy on video.
I have to say that some of it was so unbearable that I watched from behind a cushion, some was so unbearable that I watched from the hallway, and some was so unbearable that I just couldn't bear it and had to fast-forward -- specifically, the episode where he sang and played guitar.
Now I'm burning with curiosity as to what Angus is burning with curiosity about, though I too have a guess....
I imagine your guess was correct, Fiona. It's not as though gossip-worthy things happen over there all that often...
Thanks for the e-mail Jim.
On a more Aussie note, looking forward to the new Denton series. But could that Micallef thing be any lamer? I've always been undecided about whether he's actually talented or not.
The second series is
even more painful.
The Comic Relief episode is the most brutal half hour I've seen under the title "sitcom".
