There's a review in the Herald which says that Gervais is disturbingly like Brent in real life. Talk about must-see.
And yes, the new Denton show is called "Enough Rope". What do you want to know about it? Colleagues were discussing it in the pub this evening...

I watched the whole of the first season of the Office over two days, because I got lent a preview copy on video.
I have to say that some of it was so unbearable that I watched from behind a cushion, some was so unbearable that I watched from the hallway, and some was so unbearable that I just couldn't bear it and had to fast-forward -- specifically, the episode where he sang and played guitar.

Hey, nosy lurking American here. The biggest problem I have in speaking to UKians is when we have the same word but it means something else...like(simple example, of course) pudding. US pudding=very soft, yogurt or ice cream consistency...specific word for specific dessert. Not in UK. Don't spend time with a lot of Brits, Scots, or whoever, in real life Zoe, but I read a lot. Of course the danger of that is finding something in a book, saying it, and hearing: "Yes, that was popular in Agatha Christie in 1937. Grandmum was very fond of it."I have the UnAmericans to keep me modern.
