Do the Australian Buffy/Angel DVDs have the UK packaging, or the US packaging, or their own?
If they do have the UK packaging, where's a good place to buy over the internet?

Their own, I think.
IIRC, the Buffy ones don't have the cool UK package.
Is there something special about the UK AtS ones? (I have the OZ Angel box sets)
The UK AtS sets match the Buffy ones. I have the US Buffy S1, and I don't like it as much. But the British ones are all so expensive, and I no longer have a sister living there to bring them back for me for Christmas.
Pfft.
Oh. Nope. Nothing special about the OZ ones. Just a box-box.

The German Amazon currently has a special offer on - first series of Angel and first 2 of Buffy for €30 per half season (or season, in the case of Buffy S1). That's a little more than $30, and the cheapest I've seen them anywhere. The soundtrack is in English and German and I think the format is the same as the UK edition. Postage should be standard Amazon rates. Here is a link to the Angel DVDs and here is the Buffy.
Weird. The German packaging seems to split all the seasons into two. I wonder what they base their regional packaging on.

I thought the UK packaging did that too?
The UK packaging is definitely the better than the US and Oz. Not only does the book format have pages for the discs but it also has pages with pics and text on them. As far as I can tell, the contents of the discs are the same for all regions.
ita ... you could always try your luck on the UK Ebay.
Er, I don't know about the book, but in the tv series of Brideshead, I was under the distinct impression that the love affair was canon. Then again, I was young and impressionable back then.
It's in the TV show - it's just hinted at in the book.

Not the DVDs I have now.

Hmm. Probably too nervous.
I'll check out Virgin Megastore and see what they can offer.
