Have just seen "Beneath Me". I can't quite articulate why, but I was absolutely bawling at the end. Brilliant stuff.

My good friend Gary is friends with the woman with the dog in that episode. I assured him that she was not only good, but got quite a bit of play for a small role.

I was going to say, maybe you could whitefont, but then realized that it's silly to establish rules for this kind of thing when this is likely to be the last this situation ever occurs.

I'd quite like to discussing episodes here, but since I've been waiting weeks already, two hours or even a couple of days isn't going to make a lot of difference to me.

I was talking to Misha after watching, and she said that she really liked it up until the last few minutes, which she found stagey. And I realized that it worked for me in its staginess, because Spike was reminding me of Hamlet. I may have been utterly mindwormed by the Bitches' Shakespeare talk earlier, but there's a way in which he seems to be simultaneously utterly bugfuck nuts, and also aware of his madness, that reminds of Hamlet a great deal. True; I was thinking specifically about commenting on Buffy episodes, because if this is the last year (confirmation anyone?), then there's not much time left for that to happen. Um. Wrod. I (spoiler for comment, and this may be going overboard with the whitefonting) don't know Hamlet as well as I know some other Shakespeare plays, but that's a very apt comparision. The staginess didn't get to me until a third or fourth re-watch, though, due to the completely-wrapped-up-in-Spike thing I have going.
