Oh, yeah. There was this time I was pinned down by this guy that played left tackle for varsity... Well, at least he used to before he was a vampire... Anyway, he had this really, really thick neck, and all I had was a little, little Exact-O knife ... You're not loving this story.

I kind of agree with Noumenon about the groupthink. I mean, I've come across people, real hardcore Buffy fans, who seriously think that everything about Glory was utterly fabulous. I don't think I would have even let myself entertain that idea!

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Angus, the "utterly fabulous" line as applied to Glory only makes me think about how wonderful the character would have been if Patsy or Edina from AbFab had the role.

Actually, Anne, I first wrote "absolutely fabulous" and changed it for that very reason...

hip deep in pie

I don't have a problem going against the groupthink. But I do understand getting Buffy-fatigue from discussing the show instantly after it airs. In that way, I'm glad that I have a 24 hour advance viewing, as my brain is fairly slow to process things. Of course, when the majority are in the "Best. Episode. Ever!" mode, I'm already in "Actually, now that I think about it...." mode.

I also have no compunction about skipping the show threads if I am not in the mood. And I love watching "live". It's a giddy thrill.

Oh god, is it too late for Joanna Lumley to be a Buffy villain? That's just a brilliant idea.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Fiona and other Un-A s who were asking about Firefly:

The second episode, Tim written and directed, rocked like a rocking thing. Giddy anticipation is again the proper mood.

'And on that tragic day, an era came to its inevitable end.' That's all there is.

Buffy's back (reruns that is). on 7 Australia. Who with their usual custom are giving it no publicity.

Anyway Tuesday 10:30pm with Gingerbread which unbelievable as it is, is where they left off way back last year.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Oh god, is it too late for Joanna Lumley to be a Buffy villain? That's just a brilliant idea.

Especially since Buffy has never had a chronically drunk and funny villian chasing after men half her age...

Wait, that's her *character* never mind.

Hmmm... OTOH Jennifer Saunders can look quite spiffy outside of ABFAB.

Our wings are not tired.

Color me impressed. I ordered my s4 DVD's from DVD videoplanet less than 2 weeks ago and they just arrived from New Zealand! The payment has yet to come out of my account.

I'm rather excited because the only s4 I have seen includes Evil FX cuts.
