Willow: That's a work ethic! Buffy, you're developing a work ethic! Buffy: Do they make an ointment for that?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Fiona and other Un-A s who were asking about Firefly:

The second episode, Tim written and directed, rocked like a rocking thing. Giddy anticipation is again the proper mood.

'And on that tragic day, an era came to its inevitable end.' That's all there is.

Buffy's back (reruns that is). on 7 Australia. Who with their usual custom are giving it no publicity.

Anyway Tuesday 10:30pm with Gingerbread which unbelievable as it is, is where they left off way back last year.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Oh god, is it too late for Joanna Lumley to be a Buffy villain? That's just a brilliant idea.

Especially since Buffy has never had a chronically drunk and funny villian chasing after men half her age...

Wait, that's her *character* never mind.

Hmmm... OTOH Jennifer Saunders can look quite spiffy outside of ABFAB.

Our wings are not tired.

Color me impressed. I ordered my s4 DVD's from DVD videoplanet less than 2 weeks ago and they just arrived from New Zealand! The payment has yet to come out of my account.

I'm rather excited because the only s4 I have seen includes Evil FX cuts.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Incidentally, I'm not unamerican, but I am tape-delayed, and thus also love this thread. Hi everyone.

Grr- Argh!

Channel 7 really hates Buffy. Tuned in 10ish and saw that they were trying to kill the ratings by running colourized tapes of old Consider your Verdict episodes in the time slot preceding Buffy.

Channel 7 really hates Buffy.

It's sad that Seven never got the love, Allan. Plus, they lost the football, and they are stuck with Marshall Law

We should probably just pity them....

I know I'm a bit late with this question but - concensus on the Angel premiere?

My bam tells me ...

there was lilah flesh. i'm happy :) it was an enjoyable ep. as buffy has been. yet, all i can really find to say about them is- that was enjoyable, that didn't suck. there's promising stuff. without bothering to think much more of it than that.

Which I take to be quite promising given that he all but didn't watch last season's Angel and his season 6 Buffy stance was -- Let 7 be the last and let it end with dignity.

And I meant to add, I'm pretty much hearing "pleasantly surprised" across the boards. (But I'm not listening too closely.)

No other candidate is asking the hard questions, like "Did geophysicists assassinate Jim Henson?" or "Why is there hydrogen in America's water supply?" --defective yeti

My bam tells me ...

"bam" -- what's it mean? Looks similar to DH, bf, or WBB.
