I'll be fine. I'll be your bounty, Jubal Early. And I'll just fade away.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Ant'n'Dec are an adorable little duo. They're actors from a kids' show called Biker Grove. In the early 90s they left Biker Grove and were briefly a cheesy pop act, before segueing into their true calling, which is presenting. They've done very well indeed with their cute'n'cheeky style, both on kids' shows (SMTV and CDUK) and on several evening shows too. Their style echoes that of Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer (who themselves owe quite a bit to Morcambe and Wise), only in a more cute'n'mainstream fashion. They go on holiday together, with their respective girlfriends. They work together. They have houses a few doors away from one another. They are pretty much inseperable. It's cute as a cute thing.

I've not read the slash. I really don't want to read the slash.

(Incidentally - despite looking about 15 they're about 27, I think.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, you say that now.

Once upon a time, you didn't read LotR RPS.

I know, ita. It worries me. I still don't read much LotR RPS.

But I'm very fond of Calico, and actively hoping that she does write Depp/Bloom pirate porn.

Maybe I should send her an e-mail and tip her off to Ant'n'Dec.

Am? Where are you when I need you, eh?

Sorry, Fay. I was in my bed, dreaming about.... okay, that's a lie. I was sitting up way too late, watching my shiny foamy wonderful new extended FotR DVD.

Way to go, Am, now Fay'll kill you.

Well, yeah. I'd offer her my Teletubby slash but I don't think it would help.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

The I Love the '80s program on VH-1 was coming disturbingly close to slashing He-Man. (The thing was, as they showed more and more clips from the show, it seemed more and more plausible, but I just cannot accept that cartoon characters I watched when I was 3 have sex lives.)

Unamericans- next Thursday (Gods, Goddesses and Sky1 willing) those Brits who have cable, sky or digital will be able to see the first episode of season 7. How do you feel about discussion after the show, either that night or the morning after (says she who has to go to bed early)? Spoiler fonted in here, ordinary text in here, or should it be spoiler fonted and in Previously?

Fiona - Jan 13, 2003 12:13:12 pm PST #1304 of 9843

Well, the spoiler rule - here and in Previously - is that the Australians are the marker of what is spoilery or not. So I guess it's really up to them. I'm not bothered yet because I've seen the first few eps, though at this rate you'll have caught up with me fairly soon (especially as my second batch of tapes has so far failed to arrive....). In which case, I'd prefer not to have whitefonted discussion here, but that's just me.
