Spike building a cemetery was funny, Am.

I'm glad you thought so. I value the opinions of people who are not ff.n people.

Aren't you the one who said you'd never, never, ever write another story in that series? Hmmm?

I am. Hence the 'kill me now' part at the end. And, FYI, I managed to post it at ff.n, and I have a review, within hours:

Two dreaded words 'The End'.NOOOOOO!!! I liked this story ,and I think you should continue you it. Maybe with Spike and Buffy getting together and married.(please!) But please write a sequel or something 'cause i think this story has lots of potential to continue.

Note the typos, and the general feeling that I should marry them off. I fear I may. Damn being feedback's bitch!

My original stuff used to be sloppy and sappy like this- why does nobody like that?

I'm a sucker for any kind of feedback, but yeah, the ff folk do have different priorities. One person, 14 years old by the profile, got all squicked at Spike and V!Giles getting together. I didn't put any reply up, but a later reviewer asked why she was reading that stuff anyway.

Clever and polite. This is why I like you, connie.

My best and worse reviews are at ff.n. On the one hand, they love my sappy!fic; on the other, they don't like my slash, which while still sappy is, err, slashier. One or two have major issues with Spike/Giles.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

My best and worse reviews are at ff.n.

Agreed. I've gotten some very thoughtful reviews and a few 'plz rite more!!!!1!!!' types of reviews. No out and out flames, although one person was miffed that I wasn't going with her OTP (it was still a positive if highly misspelled review).

Miss Manners is my goddess. How to say what you really feel in a way that no one can take offense at.

I'll give them one thing at ff.net, they're enthusiastic and eager to share their opinions. In other words, rabid. ;)

Bored now. Can I play with the puppy?

This reminds me of a definition I once heard of tact. Tact is: The ability to tell someone to go to Hell, and have them looking forward to the trip.

Round here we sell them tickets to Special Hell.

No out and out flames

Sadly, I had one real flame, over S/G. That was about the time I started looking for more slash-friendly places (and sex friendly, too. I don't write smut (much) but my characters have sex. Often, and sometimes loudly.)

My ff "flame" was "Slash? No, no, no, please, no." It was between two reviews of "Oh, boy, Spike and V!Giles? Cool!"
