Deb, if I could figure out an ending, one would be there. I just have the one scene in my head on this one, unfortunately.

(But I may make a liar out of myself on that. I don't want the good guys to win in this one because I am perverse, and because I love the mental image of vamp!Xander/Dawn. I also do not want to actually write a battle scene or gory deaths. I think I see a third way, though, so there may be an ending in a couple of days.)

My creativity can be like Cordy's visions...I get the picture and have to pull things together, and mumble to myself to make the picture make sense.And I'm beginning to think I have a jailbait kink, cause VampXander/Dawnie made me excited, and in my last stories only Munch/Kay are even remotely equivalent...although Tim did *feel* seventeen with Will...

Hmmm. Could you expand? The idea that I have along those lines would be that everyone keeps their promises, and, after the destruction of Sunnydale, Xander and Dawn go off together, leaving Willow to swallow her guilt. But I suspect you might have something more interesting than that in mind.

(My muse seems to be going for the Everybody Good Gets Killed ending, despite my fear of writing it. )

I was thinking along the lines of Spike realising what's going on, letting Buffy know, and Buffy finding a way to use Xander and Dawn without their knowledge. Then the destruction of Sunnydale could proceed along whatever path you like, with Xander-Dawn realising they've been used and set up and maybe getting out just in time?

Because I love the idea of ruthless!Buffy, but I also like the idea of vamped Dawnie sulking in Europe with Xander: "She set me up! My OWN SISTER! Sob! GETOUTGETOUTGETOUT!"

Ooh, Spike. Good thought. He was initially supposed to have been Xander's sire, but the timelines didn't work out and I kinda forgot about him.

I'll try on a few different possibilities and see what ending works for me. Thank you for the suggestion.
