The graphics need to be in a folder called "images."

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Oh, and xara looks like it would do me fine, except that I'm all mac all the time. Sometimes that reality makes me go 'oh, woe.' But, I'm dyed in the wool, so...stuck!

You could try GIMP for Mac OS X [link] It's free.

All the images are safely tucked away...but a few seem missing. I'll have to hunt them down. But...it's getting closer!

I'm off to check out GIMP and see a client. Back soon.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

FYI for anyone who may need this tip later.

On my computer with Vista I noticed that my capacity was getting eaten up. I started with about 25gigs free and then when I looked up a few days ago, I only had 4 gigs free. I thought it was a virus, or adware and I did a complete inspection of both issues. Still no dice. I downloaded a program to examine my hard disk and it showed about 50gigs occupied, but there nothing showed up that would explain the phantom 25 gigs.

Until I did some more google searching and found out about Vista's system restore feature. Apparently, that feature was gobbling up space, so I had to stop it altogether (which suddenly recovered my 25 gigs of space) and then I put a maximum limit on how much space the feature could take up (3 gigs max) and then I turned the feature back on.

Just in case someone encounters this problem here.

Ginger, Have you received any messages from me?

I think the first two may have gotten through but all the rest have been bounced back from two different addresses.

I meant to send you the font, bembo (sounds very lotr) but both those messages and subsequent 'did you get it' messages got tossed.

So....

I got this really awesome gift from a really awesome friend of mine, as a thank you for some stuff I did for him -- it's one of the new 8GB iPods that can do video. Verra cool.

However, I do have one question that's probably not all that B'Tech worthy, but I'll ask it here anyway:

WTF is this white plastic tray-thing that came in the box for?
