Sometimes when I'm sitting in class... You know, I'm not thinking about class, 'cause that would never happen. I think about kissing you. And it's like everything stops. It's like, it's like freeze frame. Willow kissage.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I was hoping there was going to be one in my box when I got home. August is too far away.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Joss having problems getting the art finished again or something? They were doing real good on getting them out up to now. The next one is the stand-alone, right?

I think in the last issue they mentioned that they were taking a month off.

"I've got a gun! I've got a mother-flippin' gun!" - Moss, The IT Crowd

Hmm... DC Comics is starting a new imprint - Zuda comics - which is entirely online - [link]

I am both intrigued and a little worried by what I see here.

eta: And here's an interview with DC President Paul Levitz regarding the new imprint - [link]

Mr. Scola’s wardrobe by Botany 500

Unless they're going to use licensed characters, what exactly do creators need DC for to create a web comic?

Well, they're actually paying, so an income for one.

Having someone to deal with the back-end tech, the ads, and someone capable of taking collections to print are other advantages.

Still, I'm not saying it's a great idea, but it's not necessarily a bad one either.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

You know, Clovis would make a heck of a comic book character. It's a pity we don't know anyone who can draw. Oh. Wait...

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Anyone know the deal on Astounishing? I swear we should have had an issue by now. Was there one recently I missed?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I believe they were taking a one month break after the end of the first story arc, Frank.

Edit: Oops, that's Buffy. Astonishing is probably just due to Quitely having used up all his advance margin time for drawing the book.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Having someone to deal with the back-end tech, the ads, and someone capable of taking collections to print are other advantages.

And of course, marketing and distribution, which is what kills most indie comics, online or in print.
