Ooh, I have a Runaways to pick up with my Supernatural!

Excellent.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Pfft. Black Canary #1 (DON'T MARRY HIM, DINAH, HE'S AN UNREPENTANT HORNDOG!), Nightwing #::mumblesomething::, and...that might be all.

Art Crawl!!!

Oh, I might have a Nightwing too.

Perhaps I'll look into Black Canary.

SPN #3:

Things I liked:
Surprisingly, I liked that Dean was going to leave, in order to get John to pay more attention to Sammy. Also loved that we got to Harvelle's so early, and the "wretched hive of scum and villany... just kidding" line. I love the Unknown Hunter telling John that he needs to turn his fear into anger and use it to face his foes. The telling moment of John putting down the shapeshifter. Poor little Dean, seeing his father become a killer.

Things I didn't like:
I know that Dean's only four or five at the time, but... he really doesn't remember Ellen, or the roadhouse, or any of it? Especially if John's going to be "like family"? (Which is a show line, not a comic line.) Also, I was going to say that I don't like that we're saying that Dean doesn't know anything about what his father does, but then I did the math, and he was 12 at the time. So, it doesn't bug me so much. (And it's all extra-canon, so I guess I shouldn't let it bother me at all.)

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

When is the next issue of Buffy season 8 coming out?

Art Crawl!!!

Ailleann, I had some difficulty figuring out how old Dean was supposed to be in this issue. Was he 3 or 4 or 12? Were there places where he was 4 and others where they skipped 8 years?

sumi, there was datestamps... 1991 on the very first page (which would make Dean 12 and Sam 8), and 1982 on the second (which means Dean's about 5 and Sam under a year.

In the bulk of the story he was 5. In the wee little sideplot, he was 12.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

When is the next issue of Buffy season 8 coming out?

Next month.

Joss having problems getting the art finished again or something? They were doing real good on getting them out up to now. The next one is the stand-alone, right?

Also, any word on the next Astounishing?

Now tagless for your comfort.

Ooooh, can't wait!

I think August 1 was the scheduled release date.
