Unless they're going to use licensed characters, what exactly do creators need DC for to create a web comic?
Well, they're actually paying, so an income for one.
Having someone to deal with the back-end tech, the ads, and someone capable of taking collections to print are other advantages.
Still, I'm not saying it's a great idea, but it's not necessarily a bad one either.
You know, Clovis would make a heck of a comic book character. It's a pity we don't know anyone who can draw. Oh. Wait...
Anyone know the deal on Astounishing? I swear we should have had an issue by now. Was there one recently I missed?
I believe they were taking a one month break after the end of the first story arc, Frank.
Edit: Oops, that's Buffy. Astonishing is probably just due to Quitely having used up all his advance margin time for drawing the book.
