Art Crawl!!!

Ailleann, I had some difficulty figuring out how old Dean was supposed to be in this issue. Was he 3 or 4 or 12? Were there places where he was 4 and others where they skipped 8 years?

sumi, there was datestamps... 1991 on the very first page (which would make Dean 12 and Sam 8), and 1982 on the second (which means Dean's about 5 and Sam under a year.

In the bulk of the story he was 5. In the wee little sideplot, he was 12.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

When is the next issue of Buffy season 8 coming out?

Next month.

Joss having problems getting the art finished again or something? They were doing real good on getting them out up to now. The next one is the stand-alone, right?

Also, any word on the next Astounishing?

Now tagless for your comfort.

Ooooh, can't wait!

Joss having problems getting the art finished again or something? They were doing real good on getting them out up to now. The next one is the stand-alone, right?

I think August 1 was the scheduled release date.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I was hoping there was going to be one in my box when I got home. August is too far away.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Joss having problems getting the art finished again or something? They were doing real good on getting them out up to now. The next one is the stand-alone, right?

I think in the last issue they mentioned that they were taking a month off.

"I've got a gun! I've got a mother-flippin' gun!" - Moss, The IT Crowd

Hmm... DC Comics is starting a new imprint - Zuda comics - which is entirely online - [link]

I am both intrigued and a little worried by what I see here.

eta: And here's an interview with DC President Paul Levitz regarding the new imprint - [link]

Unless they're going to use licensed characters, what exactly do creators need DC for to create a web comic?

Well, they're actually paying, so an income for one.

Having someone to deal with the back-end tech, the ads, and someone capable of taking collections to print are other advantages.

Still, I'm not saying it's a great idea, but it's not necessarily a bad one either.
