Not sure how I feel about this issue of Saga. I think they may have crossed a schmoopy line that they've successfully toed before.
What, the bit about how Marko knew Alana could do anything? I was more concerned with the possibility that he'd been wrong. In any case, I loved seeing The Will AND HIS SISTER and also the timejump oh my God toddler Hazel.

My comic book store, Bergen St. Comics, will stop shelving most DC and Marvel comics.
However, customers will still be able to subscribe to or preorder those books through the Park Slope store.
Writing on Twitter, co-owner Tom Adams explained the decision “Will enable us to better serve our customers. Strength of self contained, creator controlled comics will let us move away from double shipping, editorially driven, artist-swapping, inconsistent, tied into events/gimmicks comics. Trying to keep this a going concern/think long term.”
Wow. I understand the desire to get away from the DC/Marvel model, but that's a radical step. I hope it works, but I'd be surprised if it did. I don't think there's enough indie comic fans to sustain it.
Most of their stock is GNs, anyway. And Desert Island Comics, in Williamsburg, is even more indie.
Relatedly-ish, Noelle Stevenson doesn't go to comic book stores anymore.
Somewhat unfortunately, the best way to guarantee the success of her new comic, Lumberjanes, is to pre-order it through your local comic book store.
