Ms. Marvel is indeed great! Everything from the concern trolling to the dialog about costume choice totally worked for me.
I admit, when I got the first Hawkeye TPB, and there was the stuff with the dog, I stopped reading it, because it looked like the dog was going to die (because, face it, that's what ALWAYS HAPPENS), and I knew I couldn't handle that shit (I had just lost my job and gotten married, so I was a leeeeetle stressed out).
I eventually read it.
I don't have the source, but a friend who recommended the book to me says that Fraction has said that he's never killing the dog—and knowing the origin of Lucky, I completely believe him on that—and that Clint and Kate will never hook up.
