Well, a gathering is brie, mellow song stylings; shindig, dip, less mellow song stylings, perhaps a large amount of malt beverage, and hootenanny, well, it's chock full of hoot, just a little bit of nanny.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Yeah. That doesn't bode well for the show.

New (very short) Dancing Deadpool vid: [link]

The Deadpool writers obviously weren't hired for their ability to dance (though they possibly were hired for the ability to pass as one another).

So I just read the list of superheroes you want to fuck list with commentary. I decided to read it before the apology, just to see how it went down unseasoned. I'm trying to work out what other James Gunn stuff I might have read--for some reason him mentioning his petite girlfriend in the context of other people he wants to sleep with feels familiar, but that's probably not actually a distinguishing characteristic.

At the very least, no, if you're going to direct a comic book film, you shouldn't write that column at all. And really not like that. But it's not like he knew. So it's a bad thing to get the spotlight post hiring, and the apology seems decent. But the column isn't really that sexy. Or funny. Either of which seems like a good goal. Never mind both. As for satire, totally over my head.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Welp, reading that is going to save me $8.50 when Guardians of the Galaxy opens.

I'm seeing a lot of "Don't you know satire when you see it???" defences, and, well, if your satire is indistinguishable from an impression, how is it my fault that I don't know you'd never say something about fucking the gay out of a lesbian or slutty teenaged mothers in REAL life? Where's the satire flag?
