Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have to say that getting Wolverine out of his original costume was a very good decision, but the Storm change was integral to her arc, really shocking and different, and just plain hot.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I got a copy of WW comic today.

I picked up a few months' worth of comics today (gotta have something to read at the beach!), and I saw the WW comic on the rack and said, "Why isn't the new costume on the cover of Wonder Woman?"

Comic Book Guy astutely said, "Because George Perez had had it drawn for months."

I have quite a stack I'm looking forward to reading, including the BoP reboot and the Return of Bruce Wayne.

the Return of Bruce Wayne.

Soooooo gooooood. A panel in #3 made me sit a while and go "Eeeee!" and then laugh for a while before turning the page.

I dunno, apparently Morrison is divisive? But I am getting it and B&R and trades because of him, and geeking out all over the place, so it all seems nicely bananas and awesome to me.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Ha, this month's Marvel calendar match-up is amusing:

THOR

vs.

CAPTAIN AMERICA

Fight!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Huh. Did everybody already know that the animated versions of Batgirl Year One and Mad Love were available as a twofer from Warner Bros. Archives?

Which panel? (I just read #1-3).

It was Blackbeard's "Bat-People, eh? Why'd they call 'em that, I can't help wonder." It just tickled me.

Heh. Blackbeard, you uttered the incantation to bring forth the Bat-People upon your ass.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

here’s a look at Shawna Trpcic’s designs for the character, as commissioned by Joss Whedon who, at the time was prepping a Wonder Woman movie that never happened.

That second design is highly silly.

But I like that in most of their revamps they keep the iconic boots and gauntlets.
