I'm reading
Transmetropolitan.
Spider Jerusalem started out a giant dickweed, but I'm not sure whether Ellis changed the way he was writing him or what, but ever since the presidential campaign storyline started, he's been a giant dickweed I can root for.
I think it just took a while for me to really see how shitty the City really is and that his hate is pretty justified, so it's less over-the-top than it seems in the beginning. Also, having Channon and Yelena around to balance him out helps.
Buffy Season 8: I find it really hard to believe I've waited this long for a s Buffy and Angel interdimensional fuckfest.
For reals?
I wonder if Joss wanted to check if anyone is actually still reading, and so greenlighted this trainwreck? While Buffy has made me laugh many times, I don't recall being compelled to point first on previous occasions.
I'm holding out hope that Twilight isn't really Angel, and something else is going on. But at this point it's a dim hope, which is really too bad.
I just finished
Transmetropolitan.
I loved it!
So the Young Justice cartoon is official: [link]
Greg Weisman being onboard gives me a lot of hope for the series, but I'm mourning the demise of Spectacular Spider-man (I hadn't realized it was cancelled until I saw Weisman was attached to this and went digging.)
I'm guessing Kon, based on the clothes, and since it said that the Robin, Superboy, and Kid Flash are the 3 from Peter David's original series.
And now I need to re-read YJ.
I've never read YJ, but trying to find the trades on Amazon is a mess. I can't really tell what the order is, and at least some of them appear to be out of print. Is there a better place to look?
ETA: Nevermind. I at least found a way to read them.
