It's the girl they create in "Weird Science."
Ah, now I get it. Been WAY too long.
I like Matt's idea, only because Sarah Conner in the 80s wasn't badass yet.
We have a winner!
Hell, I'd take Ash over Jack Burton (especially chainsaw-arm!Ash), though I do like Jack Burton a lot. I might even take MacReady.
Jack Burton would work a lot better with a group than Snake.

As opposed to Mr. Hyde? Or even Capt. Nemo? I was going with Alan Moore's dysfunctional group dynamics.
Eh, maybe he's just too Wolverine-ish for my taste. Plus, Big Trouble in Little China is one of my favorite movies.
In retrospect, I think the problem with Snake is that the "Escape From ..." movies are set in the future, and the logic of the "League" is that the fictional characters all exist when they're set. (The exception being the stuff from Orwell's "1984" in "Black Dossier," which Moore took back to its original roots -- it was the publisher who wanted to push the story out a few deacdes into the future.)

I can't argue with that. At all. Though the music video was a crime against nature.

I can't argue with that either, which is why (subconsciously) I added MacReady. And, of course, Ash.
I think I'd replace all of them with characters from UK shows, personally.
My pedantic tag. It does not close.
