Okay, I read it, and I still stand by my throwing up. I don't trust DiDio to do anything right.
I do like the picture at the bottom, with Batman pimp-slapping Rorschach, though.
Ha! I'd initially clicked over and read a little bit of the article and left in disgust, but I had to go back for the picture. Well worth the return.

Willingham? Mark Waid?
Ooh, I found Brad Meltzer's first Buffy issue rather enjoyable. It was fun and cute, and the dig at Joss's love of Kitty Pryde was amusing. And while I wasn't really on board with Buffy having fucking superpowers, the scenes were entertaining, and the fact that she's gaining power from dead Slayers is pretty cool and interesting.
Also, while I almost always prefer Jo Chen's painted covers, the variant cover is awesome.

Oooh, nice bit of iconography.
And Buffy's earned that comparison.

Yeah, I usually go for the Chen covers but there are a few where I just had to go for the alternate (the Harmony issue comes to mind of the top of my head).
Posting here as I'm not sure where we actually discuss webcomics.
I'm ridiculously tempted to tag the opening line of today's Sluggy Freelance: [link]
but I haven't actually seen Avatar yet.

That was a good one as well.

Aw. I used to read Sluggy, but then I fell behind. Haven't read it in years. Nice to see it's still going. Hey, Torg! How ya doin'?
