Warner animation typically does five seasons of thirteen episodes. After 65 episodes, they stop making any more. They did the same thing with Teen Titans.

I went to pick up the two issues of Buffy Season 8 I'm missing since my roommate won't read them out of order and I desperately need to share with him these latest developments.

I ended up buying a couple issues of Umbrella Academy and I really enjoyed them despite my nearly complete lack of MCR awareness.

Art Crawl!!!

AboutWomyn blogs about Buffy - and Satsu. . .I still think that it's pronounced more like my mother's maiden name (Matsuki - which isn't prounced Moughtsuki.)

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

The two years of college Japanese that I took tells me it would be close to "sought sue". "Saw tsue" would be even closer.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Yeah, "sought" isn't the most graceful transliteration ever, but I'd bet the point is to keep people from pronouncing it "sat" as in "on a chair"...

Well, I'm thinking Sah not saw but we may be pronouncing that differently.

I do get what you're saying - my point was just that I suspect that whoever wrote the article was going for much less of a fine distinction.

sumi, in my world, sah and saw are pronounced exactly the same.

Well, regardless of how it's supposed to be pronounced, I hear it like the beginning of the word satsuma. Now, if I actually met someone named Satsu, I would, of course, pronounce her name however she told me to. Until then, I'm going with the citrus fruit pronunciation that I hear in my noggin.

Heh. This makes me think of the "how I pronounce your board name" conversations. Those are always fun. A-mitch. Aw, and makes me miss A-myth over here.
