Today is really stupid.
All the banana bread talk has me looking for new Thanksgiving recipes. The catch is they cannot have dairy in them... (except the pies -- my DH just has to suffer the fact that the rest of us need pie).

Also? I have pumpkin pie fixings, but I won't actually be here for the entire month of November. That means I should make the pumpkin pie now, right? I even have whipping cream.
Oh, and of course, after I made the run for reinforcements, we only had a few trick or treaters. So now I have an enormous bowl of candy. I think we'll take it with us on our trip and hand it out to conventioners.
I like to dip Pepper Jack Doritos into sour cream for a snack. Mmmmm...

The chemistry element of baking is completely beyond me. I took physics instead of chemistry.

I actually have a problem with this, too. I can bake very well, but it's pure instinct and knowing this will go with this, and that will not go with that. If I have to explain why, I can't do it.
Also - Doritos in cottage cheese is most tasty.
