Punishingly Intricate

Nachos are my fave sour cream vehicle!

fave sour cream vehicle

Tortilla soup. Or posole. With a dash of lime.

Haven't had that in a while....

Today is really stupid.

Librarian Warlord

All the banana bread talk has me looking for new Thanksgiving recipes. The catch is they cannot have dairy in them... (except the pies -- my DH just has to suffer the fact that the rest of us need pie).

Because books.

Nachos are my fave sour cream vehicle!

One of mine, too.

Just like fresh bread is one of my favorite butter vehicles.

Today is really stupid.

It really, really is.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Mmm. Banana bread.

Also? I have pumpkin pie fixings, but I won't actually be here for the entire month of November. That means I should make the pumpkin pie now, right? I even have whipping cream.

Oh, and of course, after I made the run for reinforcements, we only had a few trick or treaters. So now I have an enormous bowl of candy. I think we'll take it with us on our trip and hand it out to conventioners.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I like to dip Pepper Jack Doritos into sour cream for a snack. Mmmmm...

I also want banana bread.

The chemistry element of baking is completely beyond me. I took physics instead of chemistry.

Coding and Sleeping

I took physics instead of chemistry.

Just assume the pan is frictionless and the bread is a cube and it will feel a lot more like physics.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

The chemistry element of baking is completely beyond me.

I actually have a problem with this, too. I can bake very well, but it's pure instinct and knowing this will go with this, and that will not go with that. If I have to explain why, I can't do it.

Also - Doritos in cottage cheese is most tasty.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Assume a spherical loaf of banana bread...

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Some great pictures from Anchorage AK of moose on the loose in the neighborhood: [link]
