To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Yeah, it's plenty sunny here. Off to venture out, to caper 'neath the orb and its rays.

My mother called from SoCal to inform me that the TV says New England's having the worst weather in the country today.

Which I noticed, having windows and all. (Although really, it's not that bad out.)

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

The day is young, victor. Remain pessimistic with me! I figure that the worst weather will hit around the time I'm supposed to drive to VW's.

Oh good. And of course, I've got a much longer drive than most. Fun!

(I really want out of this cynical mood this morning. It's annoying me.)

The status is NOT quo.

Heh. I may have to put a call in to my parents.

Though to be honest, I do kind of miss rain. Not enough to want it regularly, but now and then would be nice.

DJ, we're going to a Halloween fundraiser party. ND is there setting up sound equipment now. I suppose that means I need to put some kind of costume together today, huh.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

It's lovely here, and I have OMG so much to do I'm hunched over my laptop in a confirmed state of denial.

First stop, post office, to see if they've got my mail. And then off to my sister's house and then Home Despot, and oh, what a hassle.

It's not been a bad autumn at all, so I shouldn't complain. But I'm in a grumpy, complaining-y mood, so I will. Dang it!

Oh fun! What's it a fundraiser for? Is it just regular Halloween costumes or party/dress costumes?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Woah - the sky just unzipped. It went from light drizzle to Noah's Ark out there in about two seconds.

Packages up rain. Sends it to Kristin.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Totally confirming my decision not to leave the house!
