That's one spunky little girl you've raised. I'm gonna eat her.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

The weather in NY today has been all rainy and crappy. I've been sitting around my apartment feeling gloomy.

But then the sun just came out. It was only for 30 seconds, through a gap in the clouds, but it suddenly made me feel a lot better.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

The Star Market had TastyKakes again. I guess it's going to be a regular thing, so I may eventually get less excited about it....

Clearly this is a sign that you should come back to LA to visit.

What?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Yeah, it's plenty sunny here. Off to venture out, to caper 'neath the orb and its rays.

I'm doing the more mellow version of enjoying the sun. Sitting out on the patio sippng coffee and listening to birds (and the distant sound of cars, but at least they aren't as loud as they were at my last place). Man, I love it up here. So glad we moved.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Tonight we're going to a party thrown by one of G's co-workers. It's a 70s theme party.(even though the host was barely out of diapers when the 70s ended)

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Lee, insent.

Here it was generally overcast for the day, and also the nights are coming dreadfully quick these days. It makes me want to sleep all the time, or space out for hours at a time. Productivity, nsm.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Is anyone doing anything Halloween fun related tonight?

hip deep in pie

I think we're supposed to get the grey rainies that NY is getting starting tonight. It's grey here already, but not rainy yet.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

It's been raining off and on here. I've got to go grocery shopping, which means figuring out a time window that'll be long enough for me to walk to the grocery store when it's not raining. I have a feeling this will be impossible.
