To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Though to be honest, I do kind of miss rain. Not enough to want it regularly, but now and then would be nice.

It's not been a bad autumn at all, so I shouldn't complain. But I'm in a grumpy, complaining-y mood, so I will. Dang it!

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

DJ, we're going to a Halloween fundraiser party. ND is there setting up sound equipment now. I suppose that means I need to put some kind of costume together today, huh

Oh fun! What's it a fundraiser for? Is it just regular Halloween costumes or party/dress costumes?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Woah - the sky just unzipped. It went from light drizzle to Noah's Ark out there in about two seconds.

Packages up rain. Sends it to Kristin.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Totally confirming my decision not to leave the house!

does anyone know of a good place to get a black apron? Preferrably frilly and without the top part? I could probably make one, but I'd rather just buy it.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Ha! So did I, msbelle, although, different time zone. And the SO is still asleep. I suspect this has to do with his staying up late last night playing online poker. I blame my brother-in-law for introducing him.

The Biscuit is going nuts with all the not-playing-with-him we're doing. He's sulking outside the bedroom door.

So, like, when does the time change? Oh, no wait, I'm in Arizona again. It won't change for me. Yay stubborn states! Is it the only continental one that doesn't change now that Indiana caved?

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Timelies,

Skipped closed to 3000 posts.

Not doing anything Halloween-ish tonight. Only got invited to one party and it sounds like a bust. (Host is more a friend of my younger brother than myself. No costumes. Sounds like it's going to be a bunch of folks 5-10 years younger than me sitting around getting drunk and playing video games. Plus, my gf hasn't been feeling particularly well lately (she went right back to sleep when I got up for work) and doesn't think she'd be in the mood for even a good party right now.)

IO-Halloween-News, I'm sitting at work, looking out the window and my town is doing their downtown business Trick-or-Treating right now. A couple just went past walking their two Great Danes. The black one was dressed as Batman and the gray one was dressed as Superman.
