I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Or perhaps they'll discover.... PIRATES!

The intrepid crew of the Black Pearl as they search for Jack Sparrow??

I think it has to be earlier than that. In order for there to be ninja, too.

Trust my rage

I think Joss ruined TV for me...or at least raised my expectations. Because it always seemed like there was one little clue thrown out there and then 15 episodes or 2 seasons later we found out what it meant. I always think of how Vamp!Willow was a little gay. Maybe there was no plan to make Willow gay but they paid off on what they had put in there. I know there are others, but that's the first that comes to mind.

I won't be crushed if we never find out who left Adama the note, but I would be extra impressed with RDM and staff if they had a good answer for us somewhere along the way.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Maybe there was no plan to make Willow gay

Apparently it was always gonna be Willow or Xander, and they definitely laid the foundations for both possibilities.

I do love it when little stuff pays off much later.

But why do you think it wasn't Baltar? That's what I don't understand. To me it's like saying, "I hope someday they explain who planted those detonators in the water tanks." I could probably make a case that we don't know for sure that Boomer did it, but there was nothing then or now to make me doubt the obvious answer.

Hmm...I haven't rewatched in a long time. I never thought Baltar knew. I guess that would mean 6 told him?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I think Joss ruined TV for me...or at least raised my expectations.

I know this is true.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

It confuses me, what with the having kids and everything.

Tyrol and Sharon both have kids. Somehow, though, half-Cylon babies bother me less than having Lee and Zach turn out to be hybrids too.

I'll be mad if Bill Adama is a Cylon

I've been seeing variations on this statement all over fandom -- "I'll be mad if ____ is a Cylon," and I honestly don't get it. Maybe because the ever-present specialness of humanity is one of my major sci-fi pet peeves, but I love the idea of taking all the most "human" characters and having them turn out to be killer robots from outer space. If fucking with "what it means to be Cylon" also means fucking with "what it means to be human" then I'm for it 100%.

I was cheering out loud when Tigh's response to being a Cylon was "My name is Saul Tigh and I am a Colonel in the Colonial Fleet. Whatever else I am, that's the man I want to be." That being a human/being a Cylon doesn't have to automatically assign you to one side or the other - that your identity remains intact regardless of your biological origins.

In the miniseries - "There are twelve models. I'm number six."

I never thought Baltar knew.

Oh. Well, that's a good reason for you to wonder, then!

But yes. Six introduces herself in the miniseries by saying, "There are 12 models. I'm number 6." And then, the scene before Adama gets the note consists of Baltar fretting about how there could be Cylons hidden in the fleet.
