I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

The Peter Krause character did several things that were not stupid, and I was pleased.

Thrive to spite them

I liked Krause's relationship with his daughter. Also I stopped watching around the time Juliana M was talking about her "second" or when the medical examiner guy was talking to the mental patient -- I can't remember which happened later. Actually, how did the medical exmainer end up there and talking about the objects, it seemed like he knew about them but I thought Krause's character only told his partner. Or was the examiner guy's knowledge indpendent of Krause's knowledge.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I thought it was pretty well done. I'm a little leery of all these factions being so centered in Pittsburgh (though they did say something about the objects drawing each other together) and of Pollack's and Bart's characters knowing so much about the plan that fits the objects together without being able to say what exactly is going on with the room itself. But it held together well and had some very good performances.

Who knew the network responsible for Mansquito had this kind of quality up their sleeves?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

askye, it was independent. He was following up on Iggy's personal effects, and he found out about the Order.

I like it so far, and I'm interested to see where it goes. It's a cool idea. I loved this exchange:

"What does the gun do?"
"It shoots bullets really fast."

Wait, we can blackfont this, can't we?

Art Crawl!!!

Yes, it aired last night so it can be totally blackfonted.

And really, the little girl is played by Dakota Fanning's younger sister and isn't all the creepy. Although she did figure out a bunch of stuff about that lost hotel on her own.

I loved the scene where she was all, "Pick any stuffed animal BUT OMG NOT THAT ONE."

Also, I noticed that Rob Kral is responsible for the score.

Art Crawl!!!

Scifi.com has a bunch of little videos about various of the objects and what they do.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

How gay is Zach? The article contains guesses about future Heroes plot based on casting news linked to upthread. Kring's comments.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

That was an awfully lame response on the part of Kring. Why'd he bother?

Yeah, what the hell? This has Dead Like Me written all over it. Bryan Fuller intended to make George's dad gay and even set it up in the pilot, but the network nixed the idea. And I swear I read an interview with Fuller early on that said Zach was gay, so I was confused when that wasn't being made clear for many episodes. And then I thought it was, and now Kring said it wasn't? Weird.
