Art Crawl!!!

Hee.

Did they repeat the same thing to each other or did Kara say one thing and Lee hear and then say another? (Not that I'm not going to be re-watching in an hour.)

BTW, how are they choosing which SG1s to repeat. .. are they fan favorites? Somehow important to the rest of the season? Or completely random?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

It sounded to me like they both said "I missed you." Awwwww. And it only took, what, an hour or so of beating the crap out of each other to get there?

BTW, here's the link to the scene from next week they talked about right after the promo. (It doesn't give away any more than the trailer did -- it looks like most of the trailer was cut from this section.)

Art Crawl!!!

I'm attempting to watch it -- but for some reason I can get the ad that plays before it but not the preview itself. Frustrating.

ETA: I got it to work -- yes, it's pretty much more of the same thing. It will be interesting to see if the "On Demand" preview is the same.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Eric Idle made me run away--I'd have preferred a loss of speech, since I honestly feared I'd ask him to impregnate me.

I just checked with Daniel. He'd be completely ok with it, if I were to have that reaction should I ever meet any of the Pythons, and the Python in question took me up on it.

Cuz ya know, Python baby.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Well, the episode gave us a better explanation for fat!Apollo, Lee and Kara being at odds and the both of them getting married so suddenly than we've had before. I just wish there'd at least been some hints prior to this.

I liked Laura and Bill looking at the stars and getting high.

The older generation was much more fun, but much less intense than the younger generation.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Also - liked the second half of the new Dr. Who - mostly. Kept up the creepy atmosphere. I think I like leaving "Satan" ambivalent. Either having it end "yes - this was THE Satan, The Doctor and Rose just beat him", or "this was another cheap alien with superpowers and pretensions" would have been a letdown. Whether superbeing or Satan, it does seem like it was defeated a bit easily at the end. Open the emergency hatch and kick its ass out the airlock? After all the other stuff it pulled, that's all it takes?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I love the idea that if Roslin and the Admiral don't shag, neither of them will ever have sex again.

I so don't get Kara's secret pain. She makes no sense to me, and that makes me impatient with her emotional arc.

Boxingwise--I am not putting my hands into someone else's sweaty gloves. That's just disgusting. And they must have some mouthpiece technology for them to be able to wear just any one. Mine's molded to the shape of my teeth.

Kara, yikes. I have no idea how I'm supposed to believe she took all those body shots and kept standing. Her torso's not that well muscled.

Felt for Tigh, poor guy. Everyone did look so happy on New Caprica. And Jammer (that's his name, right?) there in the background.
