ION, after almost a month and a half of brain-deadness I have finally, with 6 1/2 hours to spare, come up with no less than three thoughtful, highly personal, kick-ass birthday present ideas for Hec. Sadly, of the three, exactly none are doable before tomorrow, and likely also none are doable before the end of the day tomorrow. But they're damn good, and I totally thought of them.

Today was a better day. I've posted a full description in lj, but the short story is that today was the day of the college recruiting camp. A chance for the girls who made the camp to show off their mad softball skillz for about 150 college recruiters. Only 240 girls got accepted to the camp. We got on the wiat list and K-Bug was able to participate. She did very well. And enjoyed the experience.

Will see what tomorrow holds...
