aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

That just seems really odd to me, but of course I'm a product of a "head-consciousness" culture, so....

I think I know what ita's talking about. I can recall stories about some scientist who was doing thought-experiments in the 70s by trying to get subjects to center their consciousness lower in their bodies.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Tommy, have you seen this? It's kinda...weird.

Haven't males been doing this....forever?

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

The sci-fi is making my brain hurt.

Megan - have not watched yet. Hopefully Tivo grabbed for me and I can watch eventually.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I think I've seen a picture or two of the new 747-8, but those pictures really emphasize the weird curvature of the wings. Huh. (Also, the pictures show the saw-tooth pattern to the back of the engine nacelles, where the bypass air exits. This is to make the engines quieter.)

The new 787 has weirdly-curved wings, but not to the same degree, I think: [link]

I think that because both planes have wings that are mostly composite, there's a lot more they can do with wing shapes than for wings of aluminum.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

I always feel like I'm thinking in my head (as bizarre as that sounds out of context).

I dare not get too excited about Eureka, because I still smart from the Coupling fiasco.

I think one way or another, it's at least a good thing for putting giant full-page sized picture of Colin in Entertainment Weekly.

Still haven't seen the premiere though, due to work, a crappy VCR, and no Tivo. Glad to hear it did well.

I have no problem with people placing consciousness elswhere. Most of the physical sensation that accompany emotional reactions (fear, sadness) take place in my torso, not near my head. Rage is a flash (presumably adrenaline) that sort of travels just below the surface of my skin. Very few physical manifestations involve my brainbucket. About the only things that do are really weird bad ideas, like the whole chewing yellow thing.

Those wings look like they're flapping.

Sara, my physical manifestations take place all over, but it feels like my brain does the editing work, so to speak.

Yeah, to my eyes they kinda' look... wrong. Like there's too much dihedral (the angle at which they're "bent up") near the wingtips. However, my judgement is not based on thousands of hours of wind-tunnel data and computer simulations, so....

Just overheard a co-worker say Imitrex. As I was getting water to take some of my own.

Migraines are weird. He has them, but his are so different from mine. No wonder treating them is so different. He gets visual interference so bad that he has to lie down.
