I have no problem with people placing consciousness elswhere. Most of the physical sensation that accompany emotional reactions (fear, sadness) take place in my torso, not near my head. Rage is a flash (presumably adrenaline) that sort of travels just below the surface of my skin. Very few physical manifestations involve my brainbucket. About the only things that do are really weird bad ideas, like the whole chewing yellow thing.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Those wings look like they're flapping.

Sara, my physical manifestations take place all over, but it feels like my brain does the editing work, so to speak.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Those wings look like they're flapping.

Yeah, to my eyes they kinda' look... wrong. Like there's too much dihedral (the angle at which they're "bent up") near the wingtips. However, my judgement is not based on thousands of hours of wind-tunnel data and computer simulations, so....

Just overheard a co-worker say Imitrex. As I was getting water to take some of my own.

Migraines are weird. He has them, but his are so different from mine. No wonder treating them is so different. He gets visual interference so bad that he has to lie down.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I sort of find it refreshing that Haley Joel Osment was driving a 10 year old Saturn when he wrecked. Looks like he's going to be ok. He's growing into a cutiehead teenager.

Depends on why he crashed.

Good point. "Awake and talking" probably doesn't mean "not drunk or stoned".

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I will say that being drunk at 1 in the morning at 18, even driving, isn't necessarily a sign of some big Problem. If HJO was drunk or whatever.

Underaged drunk driving isn't a Problem?
