SO. SAD.
I was just typing an address onto a purchase order. The company's street is "Chandler".
I typed "Chanandler".
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Another victim of TV brain-washing.
Bong!
I AM SO FUCKING PISSED.
No one has even entered my apartment.
I think I'm going to have to request someone accompany me back to my apartment tomorrow morning so I can FUCKING SUPERVISE THEM.
You know, they may have a valid reason. But you FUCKING DON'T TELL ME "TODAY" TWO DAYS IN A ROW and then don't deliver. Don't lie to me. That's the one thing I will not accept. Especially after knowing there was a problem for more than a week.
They are going to learn. And I'm calling corporate.
In the meantime, I'm wasting their water by filling the tub and blowing air across it. Fuck them.
Good for you, sara. I can't believe...well, no, I can believe. I am so angry on your behalf.
At least the plumber came as promised today, and evidently did fix all the things he was supposed to fix -- here's hoping it all works properly!
Who was it here that misplaced their their rightful thunderstorms? Somerville seems to be getting some in short order. I'm out on the patio enjoying the wild wind and warm (84) but not humid temperature, and revelling in a comfortably safe way.
And if the damn cat runs outside through my legs again when I go back in the house, he's going to have to stay out through the thunderboomer, as is only right.
Huh, just checked the weather radar map at Weather Underground, which shows major lightning strikes, and the NYC area looks like it's under serious bombardment!
Weird -- I haven't heard any thunder at all!
I'm going to give some quiet thanks for all the wonderful, cool-as-hell and objective teachers I had from k-12*. Even when I started expressing my opinions early (hard to believe, right?) and these opinions differed from my teachers' they taught me to reason and debate issues with respect.
