Cordelia: I get it now. You're all spies. Probably all Russian. And you've brainwashed me, and want me to believe we're friends so I'll spill the beans about some nano-technology thingy that you want. Gunn: So I look Russian to you? Cordelia: Black Russian. Angel: That's a drink.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

yes, my sister's engine once seized up because of the oil change folks not putting in oil.

Oh honey, the mentally unwell people have been in the fanbase since Game Changers was Stucky fanfiction on the internet. The calls have been coming from inside the house the whole time!

[eta: Okay, and the penthouse apartment have free-standing bathtubs right in front of the balcony! So you completely enclose your bathroom/kitchen in a box in the middle of the room, but have a freestanding tub facing a window? WTF?]

Perhaps the designer is an exhibitionist who's uncomfortable with the thought of being watched while eating or using the facilities?

I know people who got a new car from Jiffy Lube because they didn't put oil in the old one and it died!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

We are now 98% confident that the UN Plaza will be hit by a terrorist nuclear bomb between Thursday evening June 29th and Tuesday evening July 4th, 2006

That's right where I am! Cool!

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Leah, you sure you can't get out of town this weekend? Like, really sure, because they're 98% positive, and I'd hate anything to happen to you.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

That's right where I am! Cool!

If three million degrees can be called 'cool.'

(I've actually heard of oil change places forgetting to do this.)

Or forgetting to put the cap back on. Or screwing up the filter.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

The oil and caps and thinngs all seem to be fine. Word from our friendly neighborhood mechanic is thaht it's probably a solenoid but maybe the whole transmission, but they can't do anything about it til Wednesday.

But not dangerous to drive, so I don't have to cancel all my plans. That's a big relief.

In conclusion, hooray beer!

Nope, looks like I'm doomed.

Heh. Well, a cool way to die. Not "eaten by a bear" cool, but the fun factor of dying in a nuclear holocaust is upped when you posted just beforehand, "Hey! I can see the mushroom cloud from here!"

You'd all (well, some) be very sad and stuf -- as well you ought -- but, frankly, posting next to an atom bomb would even top Fiona's "well I've gone into labour and am leaving for Hospital now" lo these many years ago when she had Benno.
