God, that fashion at that time was so shapeless. I had the best body of my life with the worst time to show it off!
So this! All I wore in the late 80's and early 90's were huge, shapeless things. Gah!
ION, I'm wearing capris and flip flops right now AIFG.
My dinnerware came with teacups. Perfectly lovely teacups in that they match and hold tea, but I don't like using them for coffee. I'm just more of a mug person.
Thing is? I've been randomly looking for mugs to buy for the six years that I've had the set. Now? There are actual mugs.
Is $56 too much to pay for four frakking coffee mugs? I mean, I feel like it is, but I also want them. I'm all quandried.
I thought $56 was too much until I found these for $75. [link]
They're pretty.
Oh... I like those. And it makes the soon-to-be-mine mugs look more reasonable in comparison! I still love my dinnerware and it will be nice to have this particular shopping need fulfilled.
And for some reason people didn't want their bras to show through.
I still don't want my bra to show through. I'm not going to spend too much money on a shirt, then feel like I have to spend even more money for a bra that I want people looking at. My bra is to hold my tits up/down/in. It's got a job to do, it's not supposed to be spending its time waving at the crowds and worrying about whether it looks right.
There's a brand new Hustle on tonight!
This makes me happier than it probably should.
$56 is
way
too much to pay for a coffee mug. Since this is for a set of four, it's really $14 per mug, which is expensive but acceptable, in my opinion. I have spent up to $25 on mugs that commemorate a special event, that the proceeds go to charity, or that are hand made.
Of course, I collect mugs.
I never intend my bra to show, but I have noticed that I have recently become less panicky than I used to if it shows inadvertently.

You know, so have I. What am I stressing about at all? The mugs shall be mine. And then I won't have that moment of embarrassment when I offer coffee to others.
I would feel no embarrassment either way, Cass, but I hope you enjoy the mugs!
The NYT Style section has an article today on... flip-flops. In LA, mostly. [link]
(Also, the guy who says he doesn't want to do business with people who don't like his dog really offended me.)
