I have spent up to $25 on mugs that commemorate a special event, that the proceeds go to charity, or that are hand made.
You know, so have I. What am I stressing about at all? The mugs shall be mine. And then I won't have that moment of embarrassment when I offer coffee to others.
I would feel no embarrassment either way, Cass, but I hope you enjoy the mugs!
The NYT Style section has an article today on... flip-flops. In LA, mostly. [link]
(Also, the guy who says he doesn't want to do business with people who don't like his dog really offended me.)
Or I'm shopping in the wrong places. And I include Target in this. They shouldn't cost me more than $10. I'm just wanting a pair of crappy shower shoes, something to keep my feet off the grime for a quick few minutes.
I have a pair like that that are super thin but have held up amazingly well -- basically they are my house shoes but I have worn them out and about -- that cost like $3 at H&M a couple of years ago. Have you checked H&M and Old Navy?
ita, if they're just for the shower, go to a Walgreen's (or whatever big, chain drug store you have out there) and look in their seasonal aisle. They probably have the really cheap ones.
FLIPFLOPS ARE TOO FUCKING EXPENSIVE.
Old Navy. They used to be $2.50 a pair (and, I mean, made of $0.03 of foam rubber, you get what you pay for) and now I think they're $3. I have two pair, and they haven't spontaneously combusted on my feet yet!
$3.50 each OR for for $5! Many colors. Mine are on their 2nd summer of bumming around. Old Navy: [link]
H&M we don't have. Old Navy I'm sure we do.
Thursday. Week is ending. Week is ending.
Hustle was fun. I wonder if these
thugs that they duped will come back to
haunt them?
Yum -- I just had a cinnamon donut from the cafeteria that was both fresh and delicious. Not too much cinnamon or sugar on it, so a minimum of donut dust down my front, just the right size to feel indulged yet not overindulged.
Plus, I'm back at my old cube.
