I'm fairly certain I said no interruptions.

Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Yay Halloweenie movement!

Hec, thank you for the song. I'm serious. It made my frantic, scrambly day better.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Emeline used to swim away from the doppler. They had to chase her up into a corner to get a good minute of heartbeat. Always cracked me up.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Emeline used to swim away from the doppler. They had to chase her up into a corner to get a good minute of heartbeat. Always cracked me up.

The Halloweenie is the same way. Backs off, turns her back, scoots to the other end of the womb until the nasty sound-wave-making thing goes away. The last two times a sonographer tried to get a good image of her face, she turned around and pressed herself up against the back wall of the uterus. Stubborn! Or possibly camera-shy.

It made my frantic, scrambly day better.

Which reminds me, as long as I'm on an actually-getting-things-into-the-mail kick, that there are a couple of better-day-making odds and ends floating about our apartment that ought to be gathered and boxed up for you. Hopefully tonight.

Em gave us full frontal on her ultrasound and stuck her tongue out at us. Preview of things to come as she LOVES being nekkid (is this a sign of possibly potty training her? I mean, she's REALLY young, IMO.) and is sometimes very willful.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

DH's motto when asked, "Why do you like the five-way?" is "Because they don't make it six!"

Some of the local (non-chain [non-Skyline or Gold Star]) chili places make a six-way. No, really. It has fresh chopped garlic on it.

To review:
3-way -- chili, spaghetti, cheese
4-way -- chili, spaghetti, cheese, and either beans or onions
5-way -- chili, spaghetti, cheese, beans, AND onions

My brother claims that Camp Washington Chili makes a seven-way, which would be a six-way with a fried egg on top. But I don't really believe him.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

sometimes very willful

Sometimes?

Hey Aims, wanna come over and go swimming when you get off work?

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Oh, I love quail! It's not the same quail in Australia that are in California, is it?

I believe not. Certainly not California quail. But, still very definitely quail-like and all. (I can't mock its failure to recognise its own reflection, monkeys don't get that either. Apes do, which is just as well, as I don't think my window would withstand getting pounded by a chimpanzee.)

My brain keeps putting the words to Don't Fear the Reaper to the tune of Don't Pay the Ferryman. Silly brain.

Don't pay the cameraman
Don't even fix a price
Don't pay the cameraman
Until he gets you to the other slide

What is even happening?

She was showing her asstasticness, silly.

In my day, we were allowed to use satchels.
