Doesn't matter that we took him off that boat, Shepherd, it's the place he's going to live from now on.

Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

So, like, I think I decided where to move. I think. Possibly maybe.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Looking like San Francisco. Or, well, Oakland. I think. I guess. Unless something happens.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

HA! I was totally going to say Bay Area.

Wicked cool!

Very cool!

But it's OK, we won't hold you to it.

It's just so hard to make a decision! I even drew up a list of pros and cons, with how many people I knew in each place and how much money I would make and traffic and things like that, but... well, let's be honest. That's not how I make decisions. I'm happier with stupid reasons, like having a crush on someone living in that city, or it having been in a story I really like, or a restaurant I want to go to. Something ridiculous like that. But no, all I had was rational reasons. Er, and San Francisco didn't really come out ahead in any of them. Still, it had enough little things going for it and fewer big bad things (like, "I know two people there" or "HOT") than any of the others.

What about "I know two people there who are HOT"?

Our wings are not tired.

I'd have to go with the more emotional reasons like where you can picture living with ease. Picture yourself grocery shopping. Relaxing with friends. Every place is going to have pros and cons you didn't even consider prior to moving. You will be employed anywhere, each place will have the good and bad in weather and traffic. Go with your gut.
