Book: Yes, I'd forgotten you're moonlighting as a criminal mastermind now. Got your next heist planned? Simon: No. But I'm thinking about growing a big black mustache. I'm a traditionalist.

Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Good reasons for good day, Cashmere! Hope the PT and treatment make you feel much much better. I've never had that kind of back pain, but just reading your description of the problem makes e wat to screw my eyes shut and curl up in a little ball. Eep.

I just had a call from a recruiter for a position in Monterey. Over two hours away. And my lease here runs through December. But if I got the job and made it through December, I could live in Monterey, and wouldn't that be cool?

Very cool. ::polishes aquarium membership card::

What's up with the job your DH was interviewing for with the start up, -t?

He decided not to take it - he didn't feel right giving his current company no notice at all. He has since interviewed with Raider Image - that went really well - and is heading into SF today to talk to a recruiter. He has become acutely aware of how much he likes working from home, though, so he'll have to get a really good offer to actually go into an office, I think.

Still no haircut.

Good for him. Does he have a pair of bunny slippers? I always picture people who work from home in bunny slippers.

Having one half of a two-career duo work from home seems like a good thing. The DH is constantly asking me where I can work when looking at options. At this point, I'm more specialized than he is, so it's actually somewhat easier if my career dictates where we live (unless we stay here, then his career will be dictating).

Have I mentioned here that the DH is now considering a PhD?

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

No more IV iron! At least for 2 months. YAY!!!!!

Me and my anemia self felt pretty petty sitting with all the chemo patients waiting to see the doc.

That's great, Suzi!

Sparky, do you want me to give your DH's e-mail to my SiL? She works at the Open Society Institute

(eta: I had more post in this post. Weird.)

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

sdufgisldu klsdgskj hnskngmf,

FUCKING TRAFFIC ON 101.

I got dropped off at BART almost an hour late, and then when I got to my destination, for some idiot reason TWO Emery Go Round shuttles whizzed RIGHT BY without even stopping, and then this newbie driver almost DIDN'T EVEN STOP at my workplace, and all this time I thought I had a meeting at nine that I was TOTALLY MISSING, but it turns out that meeting is tomorrow at 11, but what ho! I now have THREE MEETINGS IN A ROW TOMORROW, and one is about how we have to REDO THE FUCKING REPORT I SPENT WEEKS ON BECAUSE IT WASN'T QA'D PROPERLY.

In better news, I dreamed Fay and Pete tried to out-adorable each other, and I'm meeting that girl I made out with and subsequently angsted about tonight for dessert.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Is your other hand occupied by kittens, Katie?

Beverly gets it in one! Left hand was cradling little Waffle, but he's awake now and galumphing down the hallway with the greatest vim and vigor.
