Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Herding cats for fun

Beverly gets it in one! Left hand was cradling little Waffle, but he's awake now and galumphing down the hallway with the greatest vim and vigor.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Aww, kittens.

Dessert means no angst, right, P-C?

(Eta: e-mail passed on, Sparky. I'm fairly certain she'll be happy to help)

Ok - kid report.

Just got a call from CJ's teacher. He is not in trouble. She was calling to make sure he would be at school at 6:45 Friday night for their class show. Apparently he is the star. The show is called "Comedy All-Stars". This is gonna be scary.

Now, nothing can be easy. He has his last Little League game at 5:30. Luckily the field is right next to his school, so he can make MOST of the game and then scoot over for his time in the spotlight.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Dessert means no angst, right, P-C?

I have no idea what it means or what it signifies or what could happen tonight and what she is thinking and so I have decided thinking is bad and should not be done ever.

Conversation that just occurred between a co-worker and me:

"How are you?"
"I'm frazzled."
"Really? You don't look frazzled. You look calm and collected."
"I hide it well."
"I'd like to do that. Is it a learned behavior?"
"No, it's a coping mechanism."

At which point she cacked like a hyena.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Heh. Had a little downtime, so I shot off emails to my boss and my minion asking each of them if they needed my help with anything. Almost simultaneously, I get back:

MINION: You could kill [BOSS] for me.

BOSS: Give [MINION] a Quaalude.

Think I'll just stay over here in my corner, thanks.

I miss having my own minion. I have one on loan, but it is not the same.
