Anya: We should drop a piano on her. It always works for that creepy cartoon rabbit when he's running from that nice man with the speech impediment. Giles: Yes, or perhaps we could paint a convincing fake tunnel on the side of a mountain.

Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think they would, askye.

Do they have Nordstrom where you are? I got measured there, and not only did they give me a size, they told me which brand I was that size in. They use Wacoal as their standard fitting. So now I'm a Wacoal ho. I'm learning that their 32DD is a VS 34D, and an Elle McPherson 34D.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Even though victoria's secret doesn't carry my size would they measure me for a bra?

Yes. But, as others have said, measurements don't always tell you the full story when it comes to bra size. I suggest going somewhere that will carry your size so that you can try things on and find the right one(s). Most department stores will have women who can do bra fittings. I was trained to do them when I worked at Lane Bryant, so you could try there, too.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I really need to get fitted for bras again (and get new bras), the last time I tried to get fitted it didn't go well. Even though victoria's secret doesn't carry my size would they measure me for a bra?

Play dumb about them not carrying your size and just ask for a fitting. They won't refuse you.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Town Shop altered my bras.

To make them perfect.

For free.

How did I not go there years and years ago? I'm the most annoying of zealots -- a convert.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Even though victoria's secret doesn't carry my size would they measure me for a bra?

When I was "fitted" at VS they whipped a tape measure around my chest over my clothes and threw a size at me. I wouldn't bother.

Trudy, I so need to go there.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Even though victoria's secret doesn't carry my size would they measure me for a bra?

Yeah, although I wouldn't necessarily trust the answer.

Nah, its the bras.

You're sweet, but no, in this case, I think it's me. My busom is rather small, but I guess it's... I dunno... round? Significantly more women fit into the traditional cup measurements, hence it makes sense for bra makers to tailor their stock to most women's chests, not mine. I just need to try on and shop around.

This is also true. They don't train employees well, or really at all, based on my experience with them. One of the girls who was supposed to be a seller told a customer that we didn't carry garter belts. I questioned her about it later, and it turned out she didn't even know what a garter belt was.

Mostly lurking...

So, I had my allergist appointment today. This is what I'm all pissy about. They told me I had to be off my antihistamines for five days. What they didn't tell me is that my psychiatric medications also block the testing. So, now I have to do it again. Except, I have to go off my psych meds for 5 days. I think my shrink won't allow it. So, I'm a wee bit frustrated.
